Saul Moreno is a designer at Thornton Tomasetti, and works with the Building Structures and Building Skin Practice. He received a degree in Architecture, with a specialization in City and Regional Planning at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. While attending IIT he worked on both small and large scale projects, blending both urban design and architecture. He received the Jerrold Loebl Traveling Prize to visit Brazil. His article, Brazil: A model for Nature and Technology is published in the YAF Connection Issue. At Thornton Tomasetti, he is working on a number of complex structures including the Kingdom Tower and EPIC Deep Space Building Auditorium. Under the leadership of John Peronto, he has been involved on a number of competitions. Prior to working at Thornton Tomasetti, he worked on Rush University Medical Center with Perkins+Will.
