About

Prof. Macedo Filho is an Architect, Master in Bioclimatic Architecture and Intelligent Buildings from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. He was also a researcher in the area of Energy Efficiency in IEE – Institute for Electricity and Energy at University of São Paulo.

Professional with 18 years of experience as a consultant and lecturer in the areas of Energy Efficiency in Architecture and Sustainable Buildings, he one of the pioneers in Brazil in promoting sustainability on buildings and professional development courses in these areas.

As a professor, since 2010, he is Coordinator of the MBA in Sustainable Buildings INBEC / UNICID / GBC Brazil, held by Univercidade Cidade de São Paulo and Green Building Council Brasil, the most recognized post graduation course in the area in Brazil, with more than 1,000 students, in 14 capitals of State.
