As Design Director of the Commercial Practice of NBBJ New York, Arnold leads teams designing urban mixed-use high-rise centers and leading technology campuses around the world. His work blends a passion for sustainable urban environments with innovative technology and parametric processes. Arnold works closely with clients to create unique and innovative concepts for each project. His designs display contemporary materials and spaces expressed with engineering rigor.

His current work includes the master plan of a new waterfront business district and community in Chengdu, China, a mixed-use high-rise development in the Pudong District of Shanghai, China, and a Technology Center in Raleigh Durham, North Carolina.

Arnold holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Masters of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He has lectured widely on urban design, tower design, transportation, and transit-oriented communities, and has taught at MIT and Harvard University. Arnold is an active member of the AIA and his designs have received numerous chapter awards.
