Bashar Kassab is responsible for the Facilities Management operations for Burj Khalifa (the World’s tallest building) and The Dubai Mall (The World’s largest shopping mall).

He works at Emaar Properties as the Director for FM. He has graduated from Al Mosul University in Iraq with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and from Heriot Watt University with Masters of Science in Facilities Management. He also holds multiple professional certifications such as Six Sigma Blackbelt, Certified Energy Manager, Certified Lead Auditor ISO 50001, Reliability centered Maintenance Facilitator, as well as certificates in strategic planning and thinking.

Since 2003 he has had a wide experience in building design & construction while working with important consultants, contracting companies and the main developers in the UAE and the region. In 2011 he moved into Facilities management business where he became the facilities manager for The Dubai Mall. In 2012 he moved to Manage the FM in Burj Khalifa as a Senior FM Manager and then as a Director Managing the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Marina Mall and Burj Khalifa FM operations.
