Bassim is the CEO of Benchmark, a key development manager of a multi-billion dollar real estate portfolio across MENA. Prior to Benchmark, Bassim was the co-head of Hines MENA, and the Chairman of Millennium Development, Chief Planner of Riyadh-KSA, Senior Consultant to Merrill Lynch and the World Bank, as well as Chief Planner for the city of Boston. Bassim is also a member of the Board of Directors of several international institutions. Bassim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Beirut Arab University, and Master degrees of City Planning, Real Estate Development and Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
