Cary S. Tisch has over 37 years of experience skillfully leading and supporting collaborative multidisciplinary teams during the planning, design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of complex projects and major programs across the United States and in the United Kingdom. As a degreed Architect and licensed Structural Engineer, Cary has applied his technical knowledge and project management capabilities to a wide variety of projects in the private, public and institutional sectors, including the design and construction of 8 fine arts museums, the commercial development of over 2,000 units of market-rate multifamily housing, the renovation and historic restoration of Chicago’s Soldier Field in preparation for the 1994 World Cup soccer tournament, and over two dozen high-rise structures exceeding 400’ in height. He has also led due diligence assessments and reviews of existing and proposed build assets for a variety of owner, lender and investor clients from around the world. Currently, Cary is the Vice President / Manager of Design Integration at GEI Consultants. Inc., where he collaborates with design practice leaders and staff across the GEI organization to develop and implement design procedures, processes, and standards to enhance quality, productivity and collaboration, both within GEI and in their engagement with outside designers, clients and contractors.
