Chris Wan is currently leading the Design Management of the Sustainable Real Estate unit at Masdar, pursuing and adopting holistic approaches to sustainable design. Combining integrated design processes with stakeholder collaboration, Mr. Wan is exploring practical ways to optimize the balance between environmental, social and commercial requirements. Mr. Wan’s approach has contributed to realizing a cluster of green buildings at Masdar City, including the Siemens Buildings, IRENA HQ, Masdar Eco Villa, and most recently the Etihad Eco Residence. Mr. Wan graduated from the University of Bath, UK and has worked as an architect in the UK and Hong Kong before joining Masdar in 2008.
