About

Daniel Harrison grew up in Salisbury, England; a town renowned for having the tallest medieval cathedral spire in the country. The cathedral became the subject of many of his childhood drawings, and a resulting fascination with architecture became more instilled when he moved to the USA aged ten and visited New York City for the first time. Daniel began to research the skyscrapers of the world and in the process created lists, drawings and books to document his interest.

Daniel went to Oxford University from 1997-2001, initially to study civil engineering, but switched to mechanical engineering after finding jet engines more interesting than concrete and soil mechanics. He then worked for Rolls-Royce Aerospace and in the resulting years found time to travel and ascend numerous buildings and structures around the world.
