Mr. Crowell provides strategic Project and Program Management, advisory and planning services for high quality, complex Projects and Programs such as world-class high-rise developments, mixed-use developments, corporate headquarters and real estate portfolios. Mr. Crowell provides clients with front-end strategic services ranging from: feasibility, best and highest use analysis, organizational structuring and restructuring, and process mapping to site selection, team development, procurement strategies, contract structuring, and project delivery solutions.

A nationally and internationally recognized expert in high-rise buildings, Mr. Crowell has implemented design management, logistics and constructability efficiencies for this highly specialized building type in the United States, the Middle East and Europe. His recent work includes leading design management for The Shard – a new icon in London’s revitalized London Bridge Quarter, the tallest building in Europe; and The Kingdom Tower, Jeddah Saudi Arabia: currently in construction, when completed The Kingdom Tower will be the World’s Tallest Building at a height that exceeds 1 Kilometer (3,300+ feet tall). His Design Management teams lead assessment throughout the process of design with particular attention to design efficiency for producing revenue, construction procurement, logistics, constructability, and cost effectiveness of the building systems.

During his 35-year career, he has been responsible for successful delivery of more than 150 major, high profile programs and projects totaling nearly 100 million square feet. He brings discipline to goal setting and decision-making throughout programming, pre-construction, procurement, and design phases. His work reflects a mastery of processes with high degrees of integrated technology, complexity and quality.

Mr. Crowell earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He is an adjunct professor of Program Management at Northwestern’s Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science. He is a member of Illinois Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees and the Chairs the College of Architecture Board of Overseers.
