Declan Jones joined Aldar Properties in 2014 and is Vice President, Residential and Mixed-Use Design.

Declan graduated in Architecture at University College, Dublin, and Construction Project Management at Trinity College, Dublin. He has over 25 years’ experience working with internationally acclaimed design practices across Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Aldar, Declan led the Consultant Design Management team at Davis Langdon (AECOM), guiding emerging international design talent to deliver inspirational projects across the MENA region.

Before Davis Langdon he was Senior Architect at Heneghan Peng Architects, who won the architectural competition for the Grand Egyptian Museum at Giza. He managed the design team in both Ireland and Egypt to deliver the project from concept to tender stage.

He has been a guest lecturer for architectural planning at the Engineering department of University College Dublin, and has contributed to academic publications on design and management.
