Doug Southwell is a Director of Scott Carver, a multi-disciplinary design firm based in Sydney. As Director of Architecture, Southwell is involved in managing a broad range of projects, with a key focus on mixed-use developments, integrating residential high-rise, hotel and retail uses. In his role, Southwell is closely aligned to the early feasibility phase of projects, exploring how to unlock value in sites and create opportunities within dense urban environments. Over the past seven years, Southwell has been entrusted to manage major capital works at the Sydney Opera House.
