Doug has 40 years experience focused on technical support to building envelope designers and builders . His career began as a rep for gaskets, spent several years as a distributor, followed by 23 at Dow Corning in various roles where he was deeply involved with the evolution and development of several new silicone technologies for structural glazing. He then worked for a custom sealant formulator acquired by Sika where he was instrumental in the establishment of their North American silicone competency center. In his current role with Permasteelisa he is responsible for tech support to design, procurement, production and installation.
