About

Fred Clarke is Senior Design Principal of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, where he leads all firm projects in the New Haven and Asian studios. He is a founding member of the firm, established with Cesar Pelli in 1977. Under Fred’s leadership, the firm has designed and built over 100 million square feet of landmark towers that define the skyline. Fred has been a faculty member of Yale University, Rice University, and the University of California at Los Angeles. He has published on many subjects, including urban regeneration, sustainability, public art and architecture and tall building design.
