Gavin has acted as project director, design leader and project engineer on a wide range of projects and procurement methods including several high profile and complex commissions in the UK and internationally. He has a particular experience in tall buildings for residential and mixed use development. Gavin has also presented various papers and training to a range of organizations.

Gavin Clifford is one of eight civil and structural Partners within Cundall's practice, with specific responsibility for the structural engineering team within the Manchester office. He also has a national and international role supporting technical expertise and business development, which includes strategic planning, marketing and bid preparation, as well as client care and project delivery.

Gavin has taken the opportunity to share his knowledge with others through a number of different methods, including development of training material for graduate engineers, working with industry professional bodies and speaking at seminars and conferences.
