Hua Liu, senior engineer with the rank of a professor, assistant chief engineer of GREE Electric Appliances in Zhuhai, and deputy director of State Key Laboratory, has been engaged in the research of new energy-saving technologies for industrial and commercial air-conditioning equipment and systems for a long time. He has undertaken 8 National Science and Technology projects, won 13 Science and Technology awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, and has been selected into the National "Ten Thousands Plan" of the Ministry of Organizations.
