Ian Duncombe is a Board Director at the London based engineering practice, chapmanbdsp. He leads multi-disciplinary teams delivering major masterplans and building projects across the EMEA.

He studied Building Engineering at the University of Bath’s integrated school of Architecture and Building Engineering, which sparked a passion for collaborative design and innovative environmental engineering.

For more than 30 years, Ian has worked on high profile projects around the world, including two winners of the RIBA’s Stirling Prize. He is currently working with leading architects on projects such as Battersea Power Station in London and the Manoel Island masterplan in Malta.
