About

Gong Jian, Doctor of Engineering, Professor-level Senior Engineer, Doctorial Tutor of Tongji University, now acts as the Chief Engineer (Chief Expert) of Shanghai Construction Group Co., Ltd. and Dean of the SCG Engineering General Institute. Besides, he plays the lead role in some organizations and institutes, like Standing Director of China Civil Engineering Society, Vice Chairman of China Formwork Scaffolding Association, Vice President of the Consultation Committee of China Civil Engineering Society (Chief Engineers), FCIOB, and FICE.

Gong Jian has devoted himself to the research of super high-rise construction technology. And he has contributed to construction of the highest buildings and structures in different periods of China, such as Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower (468m), Jin Mao Tower (420.5m), Shanghai World…
