In 1989, she graduated from Wuhan University with the master’s degree in English literature. Her thesis “Hamlet’s Delay & the Oedipus Complex” was awarded “Top Theses & Dissertations in China since 1949” by China Academy of Social Sciences in 1989. It was edited in the book “Collections of Shakespearean Commentators” published by Wuhan University Press in 1989.

She used to get some translated short stories or a novelette by American writers like Mark Twain and Edith Wharton published by nation-class magazines or periodicals (e.g. Children’s Literature) during her university period from 1982 -1989.

In 1988 she was one of the editors who compiled an English book on Gaokao for high school students printed by Hunan University Press.

From 1989 to 1998 she worked in a stated-owned foreign trade corporation with 3,000 employees in Hunan Province. She was awarded “Model Workers” from 1990 to 1995 and “Top Sales” in 1992 holding a deputy general manageress of a subsidiary company

She joined BROAD and founded BROAD International in 1998, and was its CEO for 12 years. In 2010 she established BROAD International Air Quality Products & BROAD International Sustainable Building, developing sales networks, exporting BROAD’s non-electric air conditioning to more than 80 countries, and closing flagship projects like Madrid Airport, Bangkok New International Airport and Fort Bragg Air Force Base.

In 2010, she also contributed to the successful establishment of COP16 BROAD Pavilion Cancun and invited Mexican President Felipe Calderon to inaugurate the Pavilion with his well-known speech “A New Revolution in the Architectural Industry”.

She was one of the two simultaneous interpreters for three international conferences held by the UNEP at BROAD Group in 2003, 2006 and 2013 separately. She has been the key translator for all BROAD brochures, BROAD Chairman’s writings & other BROAD marketing materials.

As a Senior Vice President of BROAD Group since 2012, she has represented BROAD Group many times at UN and international conferences on energy conservation & green buildings.
