Joann Michalik is a Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting and leads the Smart Building Practice. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of Smart Building solutions and helps manufacturers transform to meet the needs of new disruptive (sensors, IOT, Cloud) technologies. She surveyed leading CTOs and DOE National Lab Directors to determine, “How can the US be competitive with advanced technologies,” a study for the Council of Competitiveness, Advanced Technologies Initiative: Manufacturing & Innovation. She attended the “Maker Movement” White House study group. Michalik has held many leadership positions, and is known for solving the most complex business challenges.
