Joseph Osammor (PhD) is the managing director of Osmo Geotechnical Engineering Services Limited based in Lagos, Nigeria. He was born on the 24th of August, 1962 at Ogwashi Uku, Delta State and holds a doctorate degree in Engineering/Hydrogeoloy from the prestigious University of Ibadan. He worked for over 18 years with a multinational geotechnical engineering company (Trevi Foundations Nig Ltd), carrying out subsoil investigations and piling for major engineering structures including high-rise buildings, bridges, dams and onshore retaining structures.

Since establishing Osmo geotechnical, Dr Osammor has driven the company to an enviable status amongst the big indigenous firms as far as geotechnical engineering practice is concerned. He is a member of several local and international organizations and has attended several conferences locally and overseas in the field of geotechnical engineering. He is happily married to Kate Osammor and blessed with five lovely children: Ijebusonma, Ifechukwude, Ngozi, Queen and King-David.
