John MacLeod is IBM's lead specialist in the Internet of Things for Australia and New Zealand. His background includes electronic engineering and long tenures as the Technical Director for database companies, both Ingres and Informix in A/NZ and, more recently, a focus on Requirements Management, particularly as it is used for Systems Engineering. These combined skills and experiences have left him well equipped for his current position, which is focused on assisting companies explore how the opportunity provided by the Internet of Things can help to transform their businesses.
