Judith Dupré's works of illustrated nonfiction investigate architecture, engineering, and history in ways that delight and educate readers, especially those who profess “not to know much” about buildings. Her award-winning books have been published in eleven languages and include Skyscrapers, A History of the World’s Most Extraordinary Buildings; Bridges; the New York Times bestseller Churches; and Monuments: America's History in Art and Memory. She is currently writing the authorized biography of the new World Trade Center, to be published by Little, Brown in Spring 2016. As a project facilitator, Dupré has enabled design consensus on several large-scale infrastructure projects, including the I-35W Bridge in Minneapolis and the California High-Speed Rail Project.
