About

Kim Starr is an American architect living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 2012. She joined the Skyscraper Center Editorial Board in 2014.

Prior to moving to Kuala Lumpur, Kim was a Director at Bernard Tschumi Architects in New York City where she was involved in a wide variety of projects from competitions and master plans to realized buildings located throughout the world. She received a Master of Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University. Kim holds a LEED AP BD+C credential and is a member of the AIA.
