Kristen Day is Professor and Head of the Department of Technology, Culture and Society at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Day's research and teaching explore issues of social justice in urban environments, with a special focus on health.

She is active in research on planning and design for physical activity. Her current research examines features of urban environments that are associated with decreased physical activity and increased obesity in rapidly growing cities in China.

NYU Team Wins First CTBUH Research Seed Funding
