Lance A. McMasters is a Project Manager with the Façade Access Consulting Group. His career at Lerch Bates Inc. beganin the Design Applications department of the Façade Access Group in Chico, California. Lance quickly advanced to the position of Design Manger. During his tenure in Chico, Lance was responsible for the establishment of the design standards, quality control, façade access design and direct supervision of the design department.
As Project Manager,he is responsible for providing Façade Access consulting services for new equipment design, equipment assessments, modernization, inspection and testing, construction services due diligence assessments, and educational presentations, in the Chicago region.
Lance has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University-Chico. He is an active member in the Scaffold Industry Association (SIA), Construction Specification Institute (CSI), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and International Window Cleaners Association (IWCA). Lance also serves on the ASME A120.1 Code committee for “Safety Requirements for Powered Platforms and Traveling Ladders and Gantries for Building Maintenance”.
Lance has worked on many prestigious supertall projects, including: Burj Khalifa, One World Trade Center, Wuhan Greenland Center, Jiangxi Nanchang Greenland Central Plaza, and CMA Tower, to name a few. In addition to his high-rise efforts, Lance has designed façade access equipment for several unique architectural projects, including:City Center Las Vegas, MASDAR Headquarters, Lucas Oil Stadium, Elysian Hotel, UNC Genome Science Laboratory, 353 North Clark, Waldorf Astoria Beijing, Winspear Opera House, and Princess Noura University.
