Er. Lawrence Pak holds a Bachelors of Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Masters of Science in Construction Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a registered Qualified Professional with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore. Er. Lawrence Pak joined the Housing & Development Board (HDB) in May 1989. He is currently the Director for Construction Productivity and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department in the Building Quality Group. His key responsibilities are to manage the construction of HDB development projects and ensure that the projects are completed within schedule and budget, with good quality workmanship and in accordance with safety standards; to coordinate HDB’s efforts on Construction Productivity matters; and to drive the development of Lift, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering technical expertise.
