About

Dr. Li Hongyu has been taking a leading role in the construction industry for 30 years and has extensive experience throughout Asia including Hong Kong, Mainland China, South East Asia as well as specific project experience in the middle east. She attained her PhD degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in the UK in 1994 and a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge in 2009 focusing on sustainability. She is a 1st class Registered Structural Engineer in China, a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers, UK, also a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Dr Li is Senior Vice President of AECOM, responsible for the Building Engineer business in China. AECOM building engineering group provide multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy services to clients including Structure, MEP, IT & ELV, AV, Façade, Architectural…
