He studied in the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Tsinghua University in 1978, and gained his master degree of engineering from Tongji University in 1988. He started his career as an engineer in China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute, after that, he worked as a senior engineer in the Department of Construction in Hainan Province, executive VP in Sichuan Housing Development and Construction Company Hainan Branch, chairman and VP of Hainan Risheng Tourism Development Company, VP of Sichuan Daming Construction Company. Now he is president of Chengdu Wide Horizon Investment Group.
