Matt Watson joined the CTBUH team in August 2017 as the Council’s Public Relations Coordinator. In this role, Matt facilitates direct communications between CTBUH and external parties, with a special emphasis on promoting the Council’s initiatives to press and media outlets. Prior to his time at the Council, Matt managed public relations and press outreach for a technology start-up in San Francisco.

Matt received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago in 2012. He was also the Commentary Editor and Editorial Board Director at The Columbia Chronicle, where he oversaw the paper’s opinion section and editorial policies.
