Mattia Mercanzin

About

Mattia Mercanzin is a research assistant at the IUAV University of Venice, Italy. He is involved in two research fields with the CTBUH Research Office in Venice: “Life Cycle of Tall Building Structural Systems” and “Tall Timber Buildings” Research.

He graduated in Architecture at Iuav University of Venice on March 2013, with a thesis about “Embodied energy and Skyscrapers: Structural Efficiency like fundamental element for their sustainability.”

Mattia is collaborating with Prof. Dario Trabucco in an university course about the design of a 300m tall building in Milan, Italy.

He has published a book and research paper in the field of Tall Buildings:
