Currently an Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology, Asian Institute of Technology, Dr. Pennung Warnitchai is a highly accomplished member of the structural engineering industry. Having accomplished undergraduate studies at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, he completed graduate studies and a doctorate in Civil Engineering at University of Tokyo, Japan. Specializing in structural dynamics, control of structural vibration, and earthquake, wind and bridge engineering, Dr. Warnitchai has been an active member of the academic and professional community for over two decades.

Dr. Warnitchai has helped shape government policy by serving on a number of expert teams for Drafting National Standards, on the Sub-Committee for Amending the Ministerial Regulation, and as an expert member of the Board of Directors for National Disaster Warning. He has…
