Perla Santa Ana has a Master in Structural Engineering and is a professor of architecture at UNAM. Her fields of research include the history of construction, structural systems, seismic engineering, and new materials for structural purposes. Perla is the author of two books published by UNAM: “Structural Systems: Laboratory Manual” and “Foundations, Construction Process and Graphics Structural Drawing.” Perla is also the author of two applications, Apprendestructo 1 and 2, with augmented reality, for undergrad usage as a virtual structural lab. Perla is the Structural Consultant for Baez Santa Ana Ingenieros Consultores in Mexico City.
