As a Senior Principal, and head of Thornton Tomasetti’s Protective Design practice, Peter DiMaggio leads a team of security specialists and engineers practicing in all aspects of security consultancy. Peter is a recognized expert in protective design, and directs many of the firm’s most prestigious and challenging projects worldwide. During his 25 year career, Peter has been involved in securing of a vast array of buildings and infrastructure, including more than 50 U.S. embassies and consulates. His diverse portfolio also includes offices, educational facilities, hotels, stadiums, laboratories, bridges, tunnels, residential towers and unique structures.
