About

Philip Rowe joined Cox Architecture in 1998, and has worked extensively throughout Australia and Asia. He has been instrumental in major building infrastructure projects, contributing to the recent development of Melbourne, in particular: AAMI Park, MCG Redevelopment, Commonwealth Games village and master-planning for Melbourne Docklands and Federation Square. As a Design Director, Rowe is responsible for the initiation of design concepts and the ongoing monitoring and review of the design’s development. His focus is on a progressive, “essential” design approach that responds to a broad social and development context.
