About
Roberto has four decades of experience in professional commercial photography. His studio photography, aerial photography and international travel reportage has been published in several books, magazines and magazine covers around the world. His work is also displayed in public permanent collections, including a large 5 feet by 18 feet panorama print in the main public lobby of a Toronto building.
He is interested in studying and documenting the creative process between the artist and artwork, and the architect, especially when they are displayed as integral part of architectural buildings design, like sculptures and paintings around or inside buildings or when the actual building, or part of it, is inspired by artworks or artistic trends.
Roberto also developed his skills in the early innovative start of 360 virtual and panorama photography, as an artist he is currently creating sculptures and paint works on large canvas. Through his interior design firm, he has worked on hospitality and residential projects in Canada and Hong Kong for over ten years.
Roberto studied architecture and industrial design at the Politecnico in Turin, Italy, where he was born. Following university, he moved to Toronto, Canada, where he pursued his second love of photography.
His interest in travel, skills as a photographer and passion for architecture have recently combined bringing him to collaborate as a member of the Skyscraper Center Editorial Board, Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
