Co-Founder and principal of Cervera & Pioz, architects, based in Madrid and Pune (India). Golden Global Award, given by Architecture + Design and Spectrum Foundation (Singapur), Honors Award given by the “Foundation for Architectural and Environmental Awareness” in India, Award of Madrid City Hall, Award of Madrid Architects Association. Cervera & Pioz has won several international architectural competitions.
Her architecture has been widely published by a large set of magazines, newspapers, TV Programs, conferences, and exhibitions. She is a pioneer researcher in green architecture, bionics, and bio-mimicry with the goal to apply this knowledge to more sustainable & efficient structures for building and planning. The pinnacle of this research is the project Bionic Vertical Garden City, a mega-structure 1,228 meters high designed to contain a whole city in an entirely new proposal of vertical urbanism. This project was presented to public for the first time in the III IFHS Conference celebrated in London.
Among her recent works must be mentioned the V-Towers in Kolkata (India). In the year 2000 she was the Commissioner of the IV International Conference IFHS (International Federation of High Rise Structures) “New Challenges for 21st Century Megacities” celebrated in Madrid in 2000 and organized by IFHS and Madrid City Hall.
