Considered to be the UK's leading architect-planner, Sir Terry Farrell CBE has been responsible for a stream of major award-winning buildings and masterplans including the Home Office, Regent's Place, Earls Court, Wood Wharf and Newcastle Quayside masterplans, together with many notable projects throughout east Asia, including KK100 in Shenzhen (the tallest ever building by a British architect), Incheon airport in Seoul, Beijing Station and Guangzhou Station in China (the largest in the world). In Hong Kong, he has designed the Peak Tower, Kowloon Station development and the British Consulate and British Council.
Throughout his career, Sir Terry has championed architecture and urban planning and helped shape government policy on key built environment issues – as recognition of this, in the 2013 London Planning Awards, he was voted as making the Greatest Contribution to Planning and Development…
