Stefan Schwab is CEO of Enlighted, Inc. Schwab oversees the strategic direction of the Sunnyvale-based, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions company delivering the leading technology platform for smart buildings. Enlighted is not only transforming the office work experience by revolutionizing the way intelligent buildings and people interact, the company’s software also helps to improve the workflow and processes in the healthcare industry. Siemens acquired Enlighted in July 2018 and Schwab was appointed CEO in October 2018. Schwab began his Siemens career in 2006 in business development in Germany. Over the next 12 years he advanced through positions of increasing responsibility in executive management including assignments in Germany and Singapore. In 2014 he was named executive general manager of the Siemens Building Technologies Division for Australia and New Zealand. Schwab earned degrees in political science, economics and business administration from the University of Augsburg and Munich, as well as an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin.
