Tanya Vincent is a Principal Manager – Urban Design at Transport for NSW, overseeing the Sydney Light Rail project, the new tram service from central Sydney to Kingsford and Randwick, due to open in 2019. She explains the project as “12 kilometers of route equals 24 kilometers of urban design” and enjoys working with many talented professionals to balance the tensions between link and place through the city. Vincent’s experience in government and consultancy spans architecture, planning and urban policy, and she is a Churchill Fellow.
