About

Toby Blunt Studied at Portsmouth University School of Architecture obtaining an Honours degree in 1990 and a Diploma in 1992. He subsequently studied for professional practice at the Architectural Association London in 1997.

In 1995 he joined Foster + Partners to work on Canary Wharf Station, part of London Underground's Jubilee Line Extension. He moved to Berlin a year later to join the team for the redevelopment of the Reichstag, the New German Parliament. On his return to London he worked on the development of a generic design for Samsung Motors.

In August 1997 he moved to Singapore to work on the design co-ordination of the Expo Station. Completed in December 2000, the station is viewed by the client as the future benchmark for innovative MRT stations. In May 2000 he became an Associate in charge of the Singapore office.
