About

Tomohiko Yamanashi joined Nikken Sekkei in 1986 after earning his Master of Urban Design from the University of Tokyo. He has been a deputy principal of the architectural department since 2006. His impressive domestic portfolio is supplemented by significant international experience in China and Singapore, where he worked as a Design Architect and a Project Manager. He has be awarded numerous awards, including the MIPIM Future Project Awards in 2020 for W350 Project, RIBA Award for Toho Gakuen School of Music and the CTBUH Innovation Award in 2014 for NBF Osaki Building (SONY CITY Osaki).
