Mr. Kiefer received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Illinois-Chicago. He has over 38 years experience in subsurface exploration, seismic analysis and deep foundations. As a Senior Consultant at Terracon in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Kiefer has been the geotechnical engineer of record for more than 100 high-rise building projects constructed on deep foundations in Chicago. These projects have included the proposed 112-story, 7 South Dearborn project, the 89-story Waterview Tower, the 67-story One Museum Park, the 70-story Park Hyatt Tower, the McCormick Place Hotel and West Hall Expansion, and the expansive Central Station Development of more than 20 high-rises.
