Xia Sun is the Associate Director of the China Office of CTBUH. She provides support to the China Office Director, and supervises the interns and other staff in the office. Sun oversees the translation of CTBUH publications and correspondence, and assists with all aspects of the daily operations of the office.

Prior to joining CTBUH, Sun was Senior Contracts Manager at Tianjin Shida Construction Engineering Co., Tianjin, China, where she was in charge of bidding, contracts and cost management. Prior positions include project management and quality management positions at Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd., CNPC BGP Tianjin Hilong Geophysical Co., Ltd., and China State Construction Engineering Corp., 6th Division.

Sun is a senior civil engineer with a qualification certificate of senior professional rank, with many years of experience in project management in construction and real estate. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Water Conservancy and Architectural Engineering from Heilongjiang University and in International Economics and Trade from Nankai University.
