About

Philip Vivian is a Director of renowned architecture firm Bates Smart, where he has led the Sydney studio since 1998. He is an expert in urban renewal and has continuously studied city design throughout his career, both at the London School of Economics and at Columbia University. Key projects include Sydney 2050, the city’s vision plan to knit together supertall and transport development, and the integrated station developments at the Victoria Cross Metro Station in North Sydney and Pitt Street South in the Sydney CBD.
