About

Timothy Johnson is a partner in the global architecture and design firm NBBJ, where he leads the international commercial design practice in New York City. Committed to the creation of vital urban environments, he is an expert on integrating design with business performance to develop high-rise buildings that are performance-driven, humanistic and sustainable.

His current work includes Dalian Center, a commercial mixed-use development, listed among the world’s tallest buildings; the International Financial Centre in Jakarta; and 57 Grange Road, a residential high-rise in Singapore, among many others. His most well-known project is the award-winning Sail @ Marina Bay, the world’s 10th-tallest residential building at the time of its completion in Singapore.
