Alan Lee, Senior Director at AKAIA Architecture, has over 25 plus years of architectural experience with projects in the United States, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific countries. He has worked on a various project typologies including Hospitality, Office, Gaming and Mixed-Use. Under Lee’s leadership, his projects have ranged from a 9,000 square foot (836.1 square meter) corporate interior to a massive 490,000 square meter mixed-use development; from a midrise residential apartment building in the NY Tri-state area, to a super-tall signature tower in the city of Qingdao, China. Among his active projects is a 1.2 million square foot (111,483.6 square meter) urban resort hotel project in Southern California.

Alan has also been an active volunteer with CTBUH’s New York Future Leaders.
