About

Albert Wimmer studied architecture and town planning at the Technical University of Vienna and the Architectural Association in London. His “Atelier Albert Wimmer” studio was founded in 1977, the Albert Wimmer ZT GmbH in 2003.

Significant competition successes in Austria and abroad enabled the realization of major projects such as the “Freudenau” power-station of Vienna, the reorganization and revitalization of the city center of Leuven/Belgium, the Vienna Central Station as well as the master plans “Sonnwendviertel”, “Eurogate”, “Monte LAA“, "Haunstetten Südwest Augsburg“, "Thierfelderstraße“ and "Werftdreieck“ in Rostock/Germany.
