Andreas Schierenbeck has been the Chairman of thyssenkrupp Elevator AG’s Executive Board since January 2013. With customers in 150 countries and sales of 7.5 billion euros (fiscal 2015/2016), thyssenkrupp Elevator is one of the world’s leading elevator companies.

From 2010 to 2012 Schierenbeck served as the President and CEO of Siemens Corporation’s Building Technologies in the USA. His career includes several years in the building sector, prior to which he spent 13 years in the electrical utility sector at Siemens Corporation. Andreas Schierenbeck holds a degree in electrical engineering and has a strong software background.
