Anthony is a structural engineer with experience of projects in a wide variety of building types and in multiple locations around the globe. He moved to the Middle East in 1994 to take on the role of lead structural engineer on the Burj Al Arab and has remained there since, being involved in many projects which have shaped the skyline of cities throughout the Gulf, many of them more than 300m tall. He is passionate about tall building design as an example of engineers stretching the bounds of what is possible.

He is AECOM’s leader for Building Engineering across Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMIA), a multi-disciplinary practice of almost 2000 engineers of all disciplines, including structural, building services and specialist services.
