Christopher Jend is a Senior Associate at Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. His recent projects as a lead designer include the repositioning of 1271 Avenue of the Americas—the former Time & Life Building—which involved a complete recladding of the facade, and the new India headquarters of Goldman Sachs, a LEED Platinum and WELL Gold office campus. With an interest in advancing industry best practices in repositioning and building-carbon reduction, Chris participates in conference panels and presentations, including, most recently, the Facade Retrofits and Building Emissions panel at the 2022 Advanced Building Skins conference in Bern, Switzerland. He holds a BArch from the University of Detroit Mercy.
